My tween years transformed me into a pretentious music listener, who didn’t like things like Taylor Swift and K-pop, and would rather spend her time listening to something underground like Panic! At The Disco or My Chemical Romance. Now you could say I was delusional, and you would be right, but these formative years spent online always trying to have the “Deepest Cuts” on my playlist granted me a tolerance to sub-par, slightly bad music. And now that I’ve grown up and realized that liking music that everyone else likes is socially acceptable and I won’t die because I enjoy an Ariana Grande record, I can listen to almost anything. I give everything and everyone a chance, and I firmly believe that every artist has at least one song that I’ll enjoy. Because of this, I enjoy thinking about and comparing my opinions on music because it reminds me how subjective the topic really is. I’ve started to feel comfortable liking 1 song and not the other, even if they’re from the same artist and sound exactly the same. I’ve become even more comfortable in my Own Personal Opinion™, which means I can be even more annoying and pushy about my thoughts online. What better time is there than now to start that music blog I’ve always wanted? So here we are.

Here you can see a Nintendo 3DS, trinkets galore, and me: 18, Sanrio lover, Soobin enthusiast, music connoisseur. Come into my room and escape into this musical sanctuary I’ve created along with me, and try not to get thrown by my ever-changing opinion on the best song to ever exist or the terrible jokes. It’s just what happens here.
